New York, NY Golf School
Improve your game and lower your score at the Paramount Country Club Golf School. Located a mere 35 minutes from Manhattan, our 200 acre club contains picturesque views featuring magnificent backdrops of rolling hills, breathtaking woodland scenery, majestic emerald green fairways and beautifully manicured greens. Designed by world famous A. W. Tillinghast, our 18-hole Par 70 championship golf course provides the ideal location where you focus on your game.
Paramount’s Golf School offers a 3 day / 2 night program for non-members, which is held on Friday – Sunday. Our Head Golf Pro and Head Teaching Pro have combined to form a curriculum that gives students of all playing abilities a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of playing better golf. Our PGA Teaching Professionals
are eager to help enhance your golf skills by utilizing the latest instructional technology such as computerized video analysis.
At most golf schools, you spend all day continuously driving balls and practicing with mind numbing repetition and when the session is over you are left with little direction on what to do next. At the Paramount Golf School, you'll receive hands on instruction in all of the key areas of the game and personalized prescriptions for short, middle and long-range improvement. There is no better way to discover that the difference between a seasoned player and a recreational player is the way they think themselves around the course.
At the end of the day, you will spend your evenings in our newly renovated Cottage at Paramount
. Our seven (7) suites are nestled among the lush gardens, glistening swimming pools and overlook the golf course.

Junior Golf Programs
Welcome to the future of golf! The goal of the Paramount Junior Golf Academy is to inspire juniors (ages 4-17) to become lifelong golfers and enjoy the amazing journey golf has to
offer. Integrity and sportsmanship are paramount to the true "spirit of the game", and are qualities we hope to instill in all junior golfers to carry on through life. Our program is designed for all skill levels allowing beginners to grow at their own pace and experienced junior golfers to continue improving and building the foundation of their games. We strongly believe that by focusing on what it means to be a golfer will help to build a high level of confidence all juniors can appreciate in golf and in life.
We offer a progression-based series of classes; "Becoming a Junior Golfer", which focuses on helping juniors learn the game at their own pace. For students new to the game, we offer classes that are designed to take them through the journey of learning the fundamentals and etiquette of the game and culminating in a Junior golf league. For juniors with more experience in the game, we invite them to find the class that will best support their continued growth in the game at an appropriate pace. For our Tournament Ready Junior Golfers
are offered a playing league to enable them to meet their peers and compete in a positive environment.
Mommy or Daddy and Me Learn to Play Golf (ages 4-5)
A class devoted for parent and child to learn golf in a fun, exciting environment using specialized golf equipment (SNAG) to make learning both easy and fun! Both parent and child are introduced to the fundamental golf skills and terminology from full swing through chipping, pitching and putting.
Little Linkers (ages 5-6)
A class that is a great way to introduce the game of golf to children. Junior golfers will learn the basic fundamentals of the game: golf skills (full swing, chipping, pitching and putting), sportsmanship, on-course strategy as well as rules of the game and etiquette. We spend part of the time at the Club's practice facility working on specific skills, and part of the time on the golf course applying these skills in a manner that enables our juniors a better understanding of the game. By the end of the class students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to venture out onto the golf course.
Similar to Little Linkers, but for bigger kids! Juniors are introduced to the basic fundamentals of the game, including full swing, pitching, chipping and putting in addition to on-course instruction. On the course our junior golfers will learn proper etiquette, on-course strategy, sportsmanship and the rules of the game. By the end of the class students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to venture out onto the golf course.
